Our purpose
PBRx.Vet is designed to help Veterans create a durable, patient-controlled longitudinal health record. The intended Health Vault brings authorized medical documents, laboratory results, medications, diagnostic information, and supported wearable data together while preserving dates and sources.
A history of turning problems into solutions
PBRx did not begin with technology looking for a purpose. It continues a problem-solving approach its founders have followed for decades: identify a real obstacle people face, understand why existing systems fall short, and build a practical solution around the person who needs it.
2000
PillBot and PillBid
The founders created PillBot and PillBid to bring pharmaceutical comparison shopping to consumers. Their work used a comparison-shopping algorithm to help people evaluate prescription options in a market where useful pricing information was difficult to find and understand.
The guiding principle
Start with the real-world problem
PillBot and PillBid established an approach that still guides the founders today: make complicated healthcare information more understandable, more organized, and more useful to the individual making a decision.
Today
That mission continues with PBRx
PBRx applies the same practical thinking to another widespread problem—health information scattered across years, facilities, clinicians, portals, and devices. PBRx.Vet brings that mission directly to Veterans, who often manage especially long and fragmented healthcare histories.
What we believe
The Veteran should control the record
Health information should be organized around the person, not trapped within a single facility or portal.
Sources and uncertainty should remain visible
Useful summaries should point back to original records and clearly distinguish recorded facts from interpretation.
Technology should support human decisions
PBRx should help Veterans and professionals prepare and understand without replacing clinical or legal authority.
Current status
PBRx is operating as a controlled functional prototype in closed beta. The public PBRx.Vet website does not accept, transmit, or store personal health information. Product capabilities described on this site represent the intended platform and remain subject to validation, security hardening, and responsible deployment controls.
PBRx.Vet is an independent service of Find The Cure, Inc. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by VA, DoD, the Armed Forces, or any federal agency.
